Black and Queer Bars in Milwaukee
For black and queer communities, bars are more than just places to grab a drink, they are safe havens where diversity meets inclusion. “From Home to Legacy: Black and Queer Bars in Milwaukee” is my thesis short film that focuses on the history of these establishments in Milwaukee, and how they influenced many of the community driven organizations in the city today.
